100% of donations received by “Second Helpings Hawaii” are allocated to support women leaving the prison system and starting new lives. Donations are used to pay for training, transportation, and rehabilitative counseling.

How are funds raised to support “Second Helpings Hawaii”?
Our “Second Helpings Hawaii” food truck provides a means for women to earn income and job skills from the management of every aspect of the operation. Profits from the food truck are re-allocated to supplement salaries and pay operating expenses. Additionally, grants and regular donations aid in raising the necessary funds to support “Second Helpings Hawaii” and these women as they exit the prison system.
